What Is iFob?
iFob, from iCloseBy, is software for the iPhone, the iPod touch, Windows and Mac laptops.
iFob becomes a beacon. It can transmit and listen. iFob can say, "I am Here," and it can listen and search for any other close by copy of iFob. You quickly configure iFob to transmit whatever sort of tagline you want. Your publically transmitted tagline could be something as simple as, "I go to the U," or as wild as, "Help! I need someone to drive me to Canada tonight!"
