Installing and Registering iFob for Windows® (Win2k, XP and Vista compatible).

1. The Windows version of iFob is a FREE software instant download. To get your download link you will first need to visit our secure registration page. To begin, click here.
2. After registering, you will immediately be displayed your login and password as well as a software download link (this information is also automatically emailed to the address you entered at registration). To download your software you can either click on the displayed software download link, go to "Login" link at www.iCloseBy.com.
3. At the customer download link enter your username and password as provided at registration. Your user name will be the same as your email address.
4. After entering your user name and password, you will be on the iFob download page. Click on the "iFob PC for 1 User" link to start the download of your software, and save your downloaded file to your hard disk or desktop.
5. Locate the "iFobSetup.exe" file which you just downloaded, and double click on the icon, then follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
6. After installation, the Windows version of iFob requires a one-time product registration. For registration to work, your laptop will need internet access. Registration is automatic and nearly instant, but depending on whether or not your computer is using a firewall, you might have to grant one-time access to the www.iCloseBy.com to allow registration. Registration does not send any personal information, nor does it install any additional software on your computer.
7. You can launch the iFob program from the iFob program icon which was installed during installation, as well as through the iFob icon that in the Windows system tray.
8. Right mouse clicking on the iFob system tray icon will display several options, including a manual registration option, setting options, and the iFob About screen.
